6K a year 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Role and Responsibilities Directs and oversees the overall operations of the bulk plant site and/or sites.
Ensure that operation is a safe place to work through effective safety programs.
Implement programs to ensure overall safety, security, and maintenance ergonomics for the operations functions.
Develop and implement fact-based metrics that are timely and accurate to manage and evaluate operating results on an on-going basis.
Ensure accurate and timely deliveries of customer orders.
Resolve customer complaints and develop procedures to eliminate future issues.
Load buckets, pallets, and totes by hand and/or fork lift in customer vehicles.
Identification of needed capital improvements and oversight of project budgets and implementation.
Provide the finance department with timely financial and management information for proper budgeting and reporting and facilitate implementation of all new ERP/ Data Systems.
Maintain profitable operations by controlling inventory, losses, accidents and safety, etc.
Seek synergies and best practices to develop and implement new methods to improve productivity or improve customer service.
Safety and Compliance:
Guide all personnel in compliance with government and other regulatory agency guidelines and laws and Company programs.
Create performance improvement plans, administer discipline, and identify training opportunities when appropriate.
Work with contractors and vendors to manage on-site repairs and improvements.
Ensure employees are trained and competent to carry out their job responsibilities safely and correctly.
Responsible for manpower planning and recruitment to ensure continued operations of plant.
Responsible for maintenance activities in the plant as well as all rolling stock, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure work is carried out safely, timely, and properly.
Establish the right spare parts inventories to be kept.
Ensure plant procedures and work instructions are available and updated.
Maintain and control proper inventory levels in bulk plant as well as lube oils.
Oversee transportation and perform all dispatch duties necessary to be sure all supply and demand needs are met.
Assist with the preparation and filing of all regulatory reports.
Assist with employee retention.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Required Skills Experience managing overall operation of companies.
Proven experience creating and working with high-performance teams Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
