Custodial Superintendent

The Custodial Superintendent is responsible for planning, supervision, administration and evaluation for custodial operations. This is a full-time salaried position. Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
The Custodial Superintendent plays a hands-on working role with primary responsibilities including, but not limited to:
managing and overseeing custodial and light grounds maintenance services for multiple campgrounds and administrative facilities; ensuring compliance with project scope objectives; developing employee schedules; producing management and client reporting; staff training; and performing quality control inspections of completed work. The Superintendent will also personally perform some custodial and grounds maintenance activities to ensure the project is kept within scope and budget. This position works closely with custodial workers to monitor housekeeping and custodial requirements and performance, and responds quickly to correct housekeeping problems. The person in this position will supervise, train, and evaluate the work performance of staff. It is important for the Superintendent to be able to demonstrate and evaluate cleaning techniques, procedures, and use of equipment and supplies to ensure safe and proper techniques are utilized by custodial staff.
Candidates should possess good communication skills in both oral and written communication to interact with our clients and employees. We are seeking a self-starting individual with exceptional time management/multitasking abilities.
Typical duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
developing and implementing operating policies and procedures; directing the work of multiple teams of custodial workers; hiring new staff and conducting employee reviews; administering disciplinary and corrective actions as needed to maintain an effective operation; establishing and maintaining equipment inventory;
conducting inspections of facilities, furnishings, and equipment; preparing daily quality control reports for client use; establishing and implementing a site-specific training and safety program; preparing budgets and reports for custodial services activities; assisting the custodial workers with daily activities as necessary; scheduling, managing, and overseeing subcontractors to ensure contract performance standards are met; and performing other duties as needed or required to maintain an effective custodial services operation.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma and three to five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must pass standard background check
- Able to do manual labor
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
